Frequently Asked Questions

How do I plan a mission?

Open the Mission Planner from the home screen. Choose a shape (Polygon, Circle, Square, or Rectangle), tap the map to place it, configure your flight settings, then preview and export your KMZ file.

How do I get my mission into DJI Fly?

After exporting, use the share sheet to save the KMZ file to: On My iPhone > DJI Fly > wayline_mission. Alternatively, use Wi-Fi Transfer to send it wirelessly to another device.

Which drones are supported?

The app supports 10 DJI drone models: Mini 2 SE, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Air 2S, Air 3, Air 3S, Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3 Cine, and Mavic 3 Classic.

What does the Pro subscription include?

Free users can plan and preview missions. Pro subscribers can export KMZ files and use Wi-Fi Transfer. Plans: $14.99/month or $129.99/year, both with a 7-day free trial.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Manage Subscription," or go to your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Why can't DJI Fly see my imported file?

DJI Fly only recognizes files with specific filenames it generated. Use the app's Import feature — it automatically renames files to match DJI's expected filename.

What is Wi-Fi Transfer?

Wi-Fi Transfer lets you send a mission file from your iPad to your iPhone (or any device with a browser) by scanning a QR code. No cables or AirDrop needed. Links expire after 30 minutes.
